Tenet Furniture

Tenet Furniture are a small family-run company working out of a workshop in rural East Sussex.  We are trained joiners and cabinet makers with a love of natural form, furniture design, and a passion for beautiful timber.

Quality native and South American timber

Using only the finest quality native and South American timbers, paired with bronze and other metals.  We strive to create beautiful, individual tables.  Each wooden top is unique and chosen for its stunning grain and high figure. Traditional and contemporary merge timelessly.  All our timbers have the highest ethical and sustainable credentials.

Our metal legs are designed by us and sand cast in a process little changed over hundreds of years.  Using one of the few independent foundries still casting in the South East, we believe in keeping things local. You have the option to choose your legs and tabletop or just one or the other.
