This is a highly unusual coffee table, designed and made in our workshop in rural East Sussex.
The table is made from a huge elm burr, sanded and with added bow ties. The burr edge has been sandblasted and lacquered. The legs are designed and made for the table and are brass plated steel which has been antiqued bronze.
The natural edges are sanded and smoothed to a gorgeously tactile finish. The table is finished in natural oils which are both hard-wearing and waterproof.
The natural, live edge beauty of the elm and the industrial quality of the metal legs creates a table which is both handcrafted to the highest standard and design led. This one-off table would look great in a town house, country cottage or loft or warehouse apartment.
